Lakeshore Leadership Association is dedicated to encouraging the development of leaders in our community. We believe that leadership is an ongoing learning process; our goal at LLA is to provide opportunities to listen and interact with leaders in our community.

In today’s world, our society craves for great leaders in business, at home, and in our community. Rosalynn Carter asserts that, “A leader takes people where they want to go, a great leader takes people where they don’t necessarily want to, but ought to be.” I would agree that to be a great leader isn’t easy; most times they take the road less traveled. What does it take to become a great leader?

This year in LLA, we want to expand on the idea of what it takes to become a great leader. Our board has worked hard to bring in speakers from a variety of different backgrounds and ideas to share with you. We are also excited to get together each month and share our experiences with one another. For LLA to keep growing, this year we are encouraging all our members to bring a guest to each meeting. In order to grow in our community, we are striving to reach out to more businesses and individuals. We believe that LLA brings a great atmosphere for networking and interacting with other business leaders.
